How does one write about a house.  To one person, a house may represent happiness; to another the same house may bring thoughts of sadness or anger.  The only way to write about a house is to write objectively of an event which happened there or to write what that house means to you.

5525 Sharpe Drive represents both happiness and sadness to me.  My husband and I married at age sixty five and moved into an end townhouse unit, 5525 Sharpe Drive, Raleigh, N.C..

We were happy there.  We traveled to the west coast, Canada, the east coast and to Florida and the north east.  We  went fishing; he had two boats and knew how to catch fish.  We enjoyed eating the fish we caught.  He also barbecued chicken and enjoyed inviting family and friends to eat with us.

Then came the sadness.  We  discovered  he had cancer.  He went through many standard treatments during the next three years to no avail.  The fourth year , he died after only a week in the hospital  and I moved from Sharpe Drive;  which represented to me both happy times and sad times.        So life\goes.
