Freshman year I was in James dorm, then I lived just off campus the next 3 years, which was a lot closer to my classes than James. My primary mode of transportation for all 4 years was by foot, which was pretty nice around campus/Franklin St. I joined Sig Ep as a freshman and when I got a car my junior year, I was able to park at our house right next to the Carolina Inn, and it was great having a car to expand my travel range. (In later years, our new fraternity house was built on that lot and the old house was torn down so that side became the new parking lot.)
