A few weeks ago, we were driving through the area (new here) and drove up on one of the most beautiful buildings I've ever seen outside of a very large city.  I looked it up on the web and wanted to post it here for others to see if they are in that area.  If you didn't know to look for it, you might miss it.  We just turned a corner and there it was.  I did find this information about it online.

The Person County Courthouse was built in 1930. The Classic Revival styled courthouse was designed by Charles C. Hartmann. The building continues to serve as the courthouse for Person County.

Apparantly, there is only one city registered in the county and that is Roxboro.
